The Diary of a Wizard – Week Forty Seven

The Diary of a Wizard blog brought to you by Barry S. Brunswick Week 4. There is a Wizard sitting at a desk writing with a quill by candlelight.

Hey friend! Welcome to the most wizardist blog around. Sorry I’ve been a little lax in bringing you my magical memoire, it’s just, well, I’ve been writing cool stories for you, of which big news will be upcoming! But for now, I’m back with a bang, and this week, I have to deal with the mysterious happenings in the weird world of potato farmary. Of course, it’ll be weird, it’s The Enchanted Woods, remember? And round here, that’s just how we roll.

The Diary of a Wizard blog brought to you by Barry S. Brunswick Week 46. There is a Wizard sitting at a desk writing with a quill by candlelight.

Hey friend! Welcome back to The Diary of a Wizard, the craziest blog around. I apologise it’s been a few weeks, but I misplaced my quill and have only just found it again. You see I can’t just grab a pen and start scribbling away. My quill is magical ya see, that’s how so many cool stories come out of it! This week I have to help an Artificial Intelligence. I’ve never done that before, or even met one for that matter, it should be wild!

The Diary of a Wizard – Week Forty Five

Hey friend! Welcome to the blog that hogs all the magic and giggles for itself, The Diary of a Wizard. This week I’ve gotta help a dragon that’s lost its wings. There’s always a slight risk of being eaten, or burned to a crisp, or turned to instant ash by hellishly hot dragon’s fire in a demise most grisly indeed, so I’ll need to keep my wits about me.

Diary of a Wizard

Hey friend! Welcome to The Diary of a Wizard. What was that, whacky and wondrous wizardry? This week there’s a bit of haunting going on at Auntie Shelly’s house. She seems more jiggly than a jumping jackrabbit and shakily scared like a cowardy custard, I think I can help her.

The Diary of a Wizard – Week Thirty Five

Hey friend! Welcome to the best blog for crazy occurrences on a weekly basis. This week I have been invited to do a speech at the wood witch’s Annual General Meeting (AGM). I’ve never done a speech to wood witches before. Cave witches, sure, wicked witches, yep, white witches, all the time, even spoke to The Mighty Elf Witch on the phone once, just never ever wood ones. This should be interesting.

Diary-of-a-Wizard-by-Barry-S-Brunswick-34

Hey friend! This week there’s been reports of a fearsome and terrible giant, so gigantically ginormous that even the ogres are shakily scared like cowardy custards. I’m not a massive fan of ogres, but I’d better see if I can help ’em out of a jam I s’pose.

War – A Poem by B.Brunswick

This is an unusually sombre tone for me, but I wrote a poem and I wanted to share it with the world. Sometimes it’s so hard to understand humanity. You ask anyone you know, anyone you pass in the street, if they want wars, the answer would be no every single time. Literally no one wants wars, yet here we are, the same place we’ve been forever.

I hope sooner or later our love will win the day and the killing will stop. I think I echo everyone’s sentiments, when I say, we, the human race, earth’s children have had enough. When will they hear us?

War

The bombs they fell
The lives as well
After explosions came the cries
The hate was sewed
And fed again
Within the vicious lies
And you yearned for more
The soil you craved
Replaced with nowt but dust
The soil is yours
To do with what you will
But it’s paid for with our blood
And though no one wants
To kill and maim
It happens everyday
And our love combined, has no voice
To make the evil go away
You, the twisted soul
That’s blood runs cold
The small people feel your scorn
And none of them
Are at fault
For the coming of the storm
You bloody pigs of war
That feed and prey
Burn every boy and girl
You sit there on a throne of rubble
But at least you own the world

I will carry on the usual shenanigans and laughs of course, but I never want people think it’s because I don’t care, or that it doesn’t hurt me as much as it does the rest of us. It’s because that’s my way of spreading light. I make you smile and for a moment, that stops the tears.

I hope that peace is something that will one day find us, until that day, stay safe and keep on shining.

Hey friend! This week is the week of love and on the best blog for magical mayhem, I’ll be making some matches. No, not matches for fire, I can make fire with a click of my magical fingers, matches of love I mean. The Grand High Wizard needs a date for Valentine’s night. It looks like I’d better put my match making hat on, under my pointy one of course.

The Diary of a Wizard – Week Seventeen

Hey friend! Welcome to the best blog about wizardy things. This week I’ve reached the end of my tether. Me and Horace have got to have stern words I’m afraid. He’s just taken this too far. I mean we’re on week 17 and he only took me 100 metres in week 5 when I had to negotiate a peace deal. Wish me luck!

Hey Friend! Welcome back to the best blog about wizardy things. This week I promised King Harold I’d get the bats out of the tower tall at the top of his castle. I know it doesn’t sound like the job for a wizard, but they are vampire bats and they’ve been making meals out of the kingdom’s livestock. The unicorn farm’s been decimated.

Hey friend! Welcome to the what I’m sure by now, is the world famous, best blog about all things wizard. This week I have to help out Good King Burt of Gonkingshire, he’s having trouble finding his daughter a suiter of royal blood. I don’t like to get involved with matters of the heart, but I guess as we’ve been friends for 53 years, I can’t really say no. Wish me luck, I’m probably gonna need it.

The Diary of a Wizard – Week One

Hey there friend!! Welcome to the best blog about the life of a wizard!

This week I’ll need to get to the library to do some research. Sounds easy right? Well if was the run of the mill, high street library you’d probably be right, but this is the ancient library where all wizardly knowledge is kept. I know, I keep telling them to go digital, but these wizards are really set in their ways.
